They were not in very good shape even before the bond and equities markets tanked. Now they are 150 billion in the hole. The Trib editorial is not that specific of the way out, but the way out may be bounced checks and default perhaps.

The way out is through the end of corruption and the end of the state using that money for doling out to contractors pockets.
