2024 sees a Ron DeSantis / Nikki Haley ticket defeat President Biden with 327–211 electoral votes, and Biden winning the Popular vote by about 2%
Fast Forward to 2028, and Raphael Warnock (who defeated Walker in 2022 by about 1.5% in a runoff) declines to run for a second full term in the Senate, but instead decides to run for President instead. After edging out in a primary field that includes people like John Fetterman and Gavin Newsom, Warnock chooses former Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer for his VP.
Will DeSantis become the first Republican Commander in Chief since GWB to be reelected, or will Warnock become the United State's 2nd African-American President, 20 years after we elected our first?
For context, DeSantis's approval ratings are somewhere between 40 and 45 percent, about the same as Biden's are currently.
