Yes. With the rise of r/GenZedong (which has more banned users then members, BTW) the US is on the course towards permanent communism. /s
Nobody takes that seriously. You’d be foolish though to deny that the serious left wing movement has picked up a ton in the past few years and in a lot of aspects even since 2020.

You'd be foolish to think this isn't something every cohort of young people has dabbled with.
