You don't think the director of the DOJ should have a say as to whether the agency should raid a former President's home for classified information he has neglected to return to the national archives?

Unlike under Trump, the DOJ operates independently from the White House. The only reason this is an issue now is because Trump politicized law enforcement and attempted to have the DOJ and AG's office do his personal bidding.
