I was playing with that 270towin site today and toyed with the ideas of a great ticket vs. a below average ticket. Assuming that a Nixon or Reagan style blowout is no longer possible in such a polarized country I figured that the least number of electoral votes for each party in this sort of scenario was:

195 EV's for Republicans

206 Ev's for Democrats

Agree/Disagree?

What are your numbers for something like this.
