I do like the part about them offering substitutions for traditional religious ceremonies. It reminds me of the quip from G. K. Chesterton that one of atheism’s biggest flaws is its lack of ritual; he would have happily lit a bonfire to Charles Darwin every year.

New Atheism managing to provide Larry the Cable Guy w/some legit funny material is indeed a crowning achievement.
