With DeSantis' rise, less likely.

Less likely.  I don't believe he's running.

He can still very well be the nominee, but the answer is very obvious that he is less likely now between DeSantis' purported surge, the January 6 hearings, and his endorsements possibly ruining Republicans' chances in some elections.

Less likely but it's still his nomination to lose, assuming he runs.

Yeah but he’s not going to run away with it. It will probably be the closest race since 1976.

The chance of him ending up in prison or dead  (especially of his own hand)has risen.

I feel like this is more you wishing he’d kill himself, than any actual reality lol.

The suggestion is not quite the same as wishing death on someone, but it's getting into the same vicinity.  Let's not make a habit of this, please.

Anyway, Trump does not seem like someone who would be psychologically inclined to kill himself.

Trump won the CPAC straw poll with 69% of the vote. DeSantis got 24%. That's 10% more for Trump than he got in the Florida straw poll last month. So I think his chances of being the nominee have gotten better, which may also correlate with his removing the uncertainty about whether he's running (despite not formally announcing).

Don't think much has changed, he was the overwhelming favourite to win the nomination at the beginning of the year and he still is now

Yeah, this. Assuming these things don't happen, Trump is still a lock to run, and still a lock to win the nomination, just as he was a few months ago

Narcissists generally don't commit suicide. So the idea Trump would is pure fantasy.
