Signing statement

I thank the Senate and the sponsor for approving more constructive bounds for our nation's foreign policy. Quite happy to sign this.
Is this constitutional? Bypassing a final vote on the redraft is rather worrisome from my perspective.

Darn, my bad, I overlooked this.

If this has been sitting in the administration thread for a week without Spark realizing it has become invalid, or worse forgot to inform me, I am going to have to check over the other recent additions and see if they're kosher. Thanks a bunch.

Thanks to Sestak for tracking down his previous notes btw.

In any case I think it goes without saying that I hope the Senate is fine with this redraft since it does pretty much exactly what you all thought it did last session, just with the repeal of a completely unrelated constitutional amendment excised.

Apologizes for the delay, but a vote is now open on the redraft. Please vote Aye, Nay, or Abstain.

Redraft statement

As the Secretary of State informed the Senate, this renunciation of poorly grounded imperialist claims is fully supported by the administration. However I would encourage that the Senate review §(2)(a) which has nothing to do with that broader thrust, and therefore I am sending this redraft back to Capitol Hill for their consideration.
