Poorly, with frequent interruptions. Though fewer of those nowadays.

Side.

Usually pretty well, with next to no interruptions. Except for weekends, I seldom sleep more than 6 or 6.5 hours though.

On my side. I almost always have to hold something to my face, usually a pillow. I have a giant fish pillow that serves good enough for this purpose.

On my belly, arms under the pillow, head turned left or right (more often left).

The quality of sleep is highly variable but generally I try to get as much as I can. 9 hours would be ideal but usually I get more like 7-8.

at home:on my belly or on my side, either way, hugging a pillow
at work:in a govt office chair with my feat propped up on another one or on my side on top of two sleepingbag pads.  All in full govt office fluorescent light glory.  I sometimes ask myself, "dead0, how do you do it?  Don't you feel bad, aren't you worried you'll get caught?  How do you sleep at work?" and I always tell myself the same thing, "poorly".  But the time sure does pass fast when you're in and out of sleep for 5 or 6 hours a night.

On my side.

For those who do sleep on their side, I recommend you look into an L-shaped pillow.
When I purchased my first one, it made a huge difference with my sleep. (Your head will rarely fall off or partially slip-off the pillow.)

Something like this one ...

I use five pillows. One is for my head. The other four are on either side of me, and I hug them with my legs and arms when I switch from side to side. I like to be nestled.
