As I wrote earlier...

For a disease that is neither particularly serious* nor especially contagious, which is only seriously spreading in a narrow section of the population and which can be treated very easily? This, frankly, is little more than hysterical hypochondria.

*Except to the extent that any disease (including the Common Cold) can be if the patient is sufficiently vulnerable.

The section it’s spreading in is poor and they don’t have easy access to the healthcare needed to make it not a serious issue. It’s not a pandemic like COVID but since healthcare and life isn’t a right in the US to the born, here we are.
