A very real and very interesting prospect is if Blunt Rochester does run for senate/governor a very likely contender to take her seat would be Sarah McBride. McBride would be the first openly trans member of congress in history

Well she’s not a lock to run, let alone win her primary.

No, but she’s certainly a big contender, and one of just five openly trans state legislators in america. And the one representing the largest constituency. If anyone is going to be the first trans congressperson it’s her
