Lawrence MA 2020 election

Lawrence MA went from 81-14 Hillary in 2016 to 73-25 Biden in 2020. Lawrence has a high Dominican population in line with the Bronx , upper Manhattan, and urban areas in NE NJ like Union City. All these areas with high Latino populations experienced on average a 10 pt Swing to Trump. Not sure the causes.

A member of a union who is economically progressive, supportive of Medicare for All and higher taxation on the wealthy but is somewhat conservative on LGBT issues and abortion. The voters shifted here partly because of the pandemic and business closures I think but also because of a general strategy by Republicans to lobby Hispanic voters.
