Schmitt lines up but.... I have a hard time believing Valentine is ahead by nearly 30%. I thought her and Kunce were pretty much neck and neck at this point.

Schmitt seems like he is going to suck, but is far more preferable than Greitens. I think Missourians will have lucked out if he does end up nominated.

They're not, and any poll that showed it was illusory. Undecideds were always going to break in favor of Valentine. She has pretty much the whole party behind her, while Kunce is very much "the outsider." In a state where Democrats have no real hope of victory anymore, primaries get pretty apathetic. That, and I suspect the electorate has mostly lost its appetite for "outsiders" by now.
