It is the position of the Irish Free State that the crisis in Serbia and Yugoslavia does not currently affect us.

However, civillian casualties are inappropriate in any war situation, and as such we will be voting AYE on this motion.

-To compel all League members to bring military force to prevent the union of Austria and Germany.

-To compel a military occupation of the Saar, and the Rhineland by all available League of Nations members as punishment for Germany's refusal to comply with the Treaty of Versailles.

-To institute sanctions on all imports into Germany, with the exception of those necessary for humanitarian aid, due to Germany's refusal to comply with the Treaty of Versailles.

For the League of Nations to send military forces to Iran and Iraq to drive out the British.

The Empire of Japan moves to expel Ireland from the League of Nations.

We see the writing on the wall, and submit Ireland's resignation from the League of Nations, effective within thirty days.

-To compel the government of Lithuania to take part in binding arbitration with the governments of Germany and Poland to settle their disputes, to be adjucated by this League of Nations.
