OTOH might peel some "Law and Order" voters away from Nixon though he'd probably still lose.

Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ohio flip to Hubert Humphrey, whereas Richard Nixon picks up Maine, Arkansas, Georgia, and comes closer in Louisiana. This would result in an electoral tie, which would have been interesting.
