There are several killed and wounded, Rigshospitalet (the national hospital) has told the press, they're treating three people.

A 22-year-old ethnic Danish man have been arrested. He was filmed shouting "it's not real" and/or "you're not real". The reason for the shooting is unknown and it's too early to know whether he was mental ill, had specific targets, or if it was terror.

Their should be an autopsy done to see if there is anything anomalous with his brain, these sort of mental illness shooters often have lesions or brain cancer.

Most people lose interests in mass shootings outside their homeland, when it’s not terror and the country have sane weapon laws…. Most at least. Some American Conservatives have already been out and mocking Denmark for its strict weapon laws didn’t stop this from happening. What those people fail to get is that this is the first mass shooting in Denmark in their lifetime. Depending on definition the last mass shooting happened under the War.

I’m happy that this was not terror, not because it makes any difference to the victims, but because we don’t have to listen to anyone regurgitate stupid taking points about the “group” in question. It hopeful also mean we can get away with treating this as Black Swan moment and avoid changing any laws.

Primarily I expect some criticism of one of the big public broadcaster, who handled this pretty horrible; interviewing traumatized people and children when they left the shopping center. They have already removed the interviews from their homepage.

I have also heard the rumors, but even if they are true, I would say just as in case of Esben Anders Bråthen the bowman killer in Norway who is a Muslim convert, I would say the crazy overshadow any political belief he has.
