Basically I just remembered OAKKE was a real thing that uhh, exists. Furthermore I remembered their extreme anti-Russian views. Here's a taste

Quote
Another political feature of OAKKE is its views regarding an alleged Russian conspiracy to corrupt the left and install its own world regime. They argue that Russian imperialism is today the main threat for all humanity, just like Hitler was in the 1930s and 1940s.

OAKKE supports the Chechnya independence from Russia, which OAKKE sees as the organizer of the September 11, 2001 attacks.

According to the positions of OAKKE, which describes itself as a proletarian revolutionary and anti-imperialist organization, it conducts a struggle mainly against “Russian social imperialism”, which is currently considered by it the biggest threat to world peace, as was the pre-war Nazi Germany, based, as said before, on the Maoist strategy of the three worlds. The Russian social imperialism, according to OAKKE, from 1991 on, enters a new phase because the perestroika and reform "were the most profound attempts of social-fascist Russia to become autonomous from the USSR to try from that moment onwards to coil again around her a neo-tsarist empire from the ruins of the USSR. This is the era of the "dead bug" which ends today with the creation of Russian-Chinese war axis.

Furthermore, according to the positions of the organization, there is an allied axis which consists of Russia - China - Iran, under the overall guidance of the first, which is, in its essence, neo-Nazi.

In the OAKKE analysis, the Russians and their allies or agents in Greece do this because Russia -as an imperialist country - is economically much weaker than western imperialism, and so, whatever productive capital cannot be controlled by it, must be damaged in order to economically and politically weaken a country, so as to subdue it.

kinda hoping they get some seats in the next Greek election lmao. Unironically I think they may have been #vindicated by Russia's invasion of Ukraine

They believe Putin (and Gorbachev?) were horrible imperialists, but Stalin wasn't?

Utter and complete nonsense, given Russia's lack of hegemony even among its own neighbors.

The only place where Russian social imperialism should be a priority to fight is with the Russian Left themselves and only the Russian left, as they have already done so in demonstrations and acts of sabotage. Everywhere else, even in Ukraine, it is imperative to act against the dominant form of capitalism centered around the United States and its acolytes.

OAKKE are a joke party who are so disconnected from the working class and what is keeping them down from power that their nonsense was probably started as a psyop by Greek intelligence. Especially a joke as many of them were hunted down and tortured by the client regime of the military junta and the austerity package imposed on Greece by the American-capitalist system appendage; the EU.

They believe Putin (and Gorbachev?) were horrible imperialists, but Stalin wasn't?
Gorbachev worked to overthrow the legitimate governments of the Warsaw Pact and in favor of abolishing autonomy of the nations within the Russian SSR into something resembling the United States. Thing is, as he was a weak leader and most of the bourgeois leaders who took power were pro-US, the plan fell apart.

Calling Stalin an imperialist is like calling Lincoln an imperialist as he fought against the Confederacy, or when the US government sent a contingent to chase out the French from Mexico in favor of Benito Juarez, absolute nonsense.

No Russia that has this much weakness in its own neighborhood should inspire this tenor to set the tone of public policy.
But that's even better. We can strangle Russia by expanding our sphere at their own expense. The only huge question mark and downside (and it's a significant one) is that we help China by doing so, indirectly - providing it a free vassal state.
Perhaps we could have a (somewhat?) softer China policy in return for a significantly harder long-term Russia policy. All options should be on the table for strengthening the long-term durability of the post-WWII world order, even if they make no sense. Knowing what know we can't do is as helpful as knowing what we can do.
