I'm puzzled by what RGM has put up in the LoN thread. The Soviet Union is not a part of the LoN and thus, the LoN has no authority to investigate anything happening inside the Soviet Union. Unless he wants to declare war, that is.

Germany was suffering severe resource shortages, particularly oil, as early as 1940. They seem to have no effect here for some reason.
