No game overs this turn. Turn II (1934) starts as soon as I can get the prompts ready, hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday.

I don't mind people reacting on the Gameplay Thread, but please refrain from taking or announcing major actions until the next turn is ready.

Out of curiosity,
Poland is still available? For which characters?
Requesting Poland if that is possible? Would it be possible with a new character as playing someone going to die one year later lol.

Thanks!

Right! Let me know once you've found the suitable individual, I'll be writing the new turn in the meantime.

Granted. You'd start right as Pilsudski dies early and suddenly, elevated to General Inspector of the Armed Forces and unofficial "surprise" successor.

Lumine, I might finally have to join in on this one. May I play as Turkey to replace OBD?

Sure! I'll add you to the turn this afternoon, but it should be the same turn prompts OBD had for 1933. Feel free to start in the meantime.

I've decided to create a special thread for this. It will be up in a few minutes.

I've played a couple games like this before; on and off Atlas, albeit I've never had the time to seriously committ to a large role, which I apologize for... Are there any small roles / nations who are wanted but wouldn't require a ton of time?

Don't suppose I could play Australia / Jack Lang?

That would be fine, it would certainly flesh out the Commonweath since we also have Canada and South Africa.

To clarify, you want a Lang-led Australia, yes? If so I could arrange - to minimize butterflies - an alt 1934 election for tomorrow's midturn that a Lang-led Labor wins, unless you have something else in mind.

Yep. I think it would be an interesting alt-history path for Australia during this time given Lang was quite the character.

That would be awesome, thanks! I'll start getting caught up in the mean time.

No problem! After the update tomorrow I'll edit in the turn crisis for Australia (one) and stats, and you can start.

Might hop back in as Bulgaria or Greece around early August, which is when my schedule opens back up a little.

Will update y'all when that time comes.

Midturn up, Australia added to turn. The turn ends on Friday night, but I've been asked for an extension to Monday. Leaving it open to discussion - here and in Discord - in case there are exceptions.

I also think an extension to Monday would be welcome given the events happening in the world.

Turn extended to Monday at midnight. Expect additional events - leaving aside player actions resulting in new ones - on Friday to compensate.

Same here. I feel out of the loop since I'm not in the specific discord for this game.

Events are up. These were meant for Friday, but RL stood in the way.

I'm leaving the end of turn for Wednesday to give time to react, war ban starts on Tuesday night.

On a separate basis, I just wanted to let players know I will be ignoring all orders that mention the issue of nuclear weapons. It would be extremely ahistorical for a government to start work on that - or even be aware of the issue - at this point in the game.
