R+1, sadly. Voters in this district love fascism.

Not surprising. On paper, this seat should be one of the GOP's most likely pickups based on its partisanship alone.

McGrath is a some dude C-lister who has no shot at the Democratic nomination.  This is a meaningless poll.

Weird poll, but this district will be an easy flip for Republicans.

This a highly misleading thread title.  McGrath is a some dude C-lister who has no shot at the Democratic nomination.  This is a meaningless poll.
It's a internal conducted for a democratic candidate.. title isn't misleading in any way.

This is like if I posted a Watkins internal poll showing Ron Watkins trailing O’Halleran in AZ-2 and framed it as though it were evidence O’Halleran was in the driver’s seat.
When have I framed it as anything..? Sure if I included in the OP, a suggestion that the district is guaranteed to flip or a rating..

But I haven't.

The OP did not do any of those things (and your whole comment is based on a pretty absurd hypothetical premise). Besides, this board has had plenty of polls that have come from candidates who were not favored to win their primaries. It's still important to compile every data point to gauge the general partisanship of a district this year.

It sounds like I misinterpreted what you meant, my bad.

McGrath is not going to be the candidate. Also, why candidates keep releasing these dreadful internals is beyond me.

Van Orden has issues with his 1/6, abortion views but if he somehow lost its a sign the GOP as a whole blew it after Roe was overturned. Dems winning this one would probably mean they gained in the House, unlikely.
