Hmm, let's see...

Statue of Liberty
Grand Canyon
Walt Disney World
Space Needle
Hollywood
Las Vegas strip
Times Square
The Everglades
Chicago River
Washington Mounment
French Quater (duh!)
Golden Gate Bridge
River Walk (assuming we mean the San Antonio one)
Gateway Arch
Empire State Building
The Alamo
The White House
Liberty Bell
Central Park
South Beath
Arlington Cemetary
Saint Augustine

I have *seen* Alcatraz and Fort Sumter in person, but never actually set foot inside either.  Ditto for the "Hollywood Sign" but I have been out in WeHo several times so I felt like I meet the criteria for claiming it.

22/34 isn't bad!

The ones I'm sure about:

Hollywood Sign

Yellowstone
Chicago River
Washington Monument
French Quarter
Golden Gate Bridge
River Walk
Niagara Falls
Empire State Building
Alamo
White House
Liberty Bell
Central Park
Arlington Cemetery

I've been to 17 (the Statue of Liberty, the Grand Canyon, Disney World, Zion National Park, the Las Vegas Strip, Times Square, Yellowstone, the Washington Monument, Mount Rushmore, the Golden Gate Bridge, Niagara Falls, the Mall of America, Gateway Arch, the Empire State Building, outside the White House gates, the Liberty Bell, and Central Park). I've been to L.A. but never went up to the Hollywood sign and to Chicago but not the river that I can recall.

Disney World (Visiting cousins in San Diego when I was 5 or 6)

That is Disneyland, please avoid being proud of your ignorance /s

Whew-- thanks for the correction!

F**k both Disneyworld and Disneyland, which are both equal tourist traps sucking up massive $$$ from both low-income and middle-class tourists alike!

Not all of us single-parent families under the Reagan Recession in the '80s were able to afford this slice of AmeriKKKana...

Still, no tears and no regrets, but years later we were able to afford to fly our grandson into North County San Diego, and Legoland rocked!!!!

We were visiting my wife's daughter and husband who was a proud US Marine stationed in 1st MEF country outside of Oceanside, CA.

Was scheduled to be deployed to Afghanistan, but they gave him the "Vax Cocktail" and we had to do an emergency visit while he is in a coma outside of Bilboa Park.

2nd visit down he is recovering and I made the mistake of giving him a few shots of hard A, while my wife and her youngest daughter are out shopping...

Needless to say, pretty clear I have more SoCal experiences than most Atlas members, but appreciate the fact that you are keeping me honest!!!

1) Statue of Liberty: Visited Liberty Island but did not go up in the statue
2) Grand Canyon: yes
3) Walt Disney World: yes
4) Zion National Park: hiked/camped for several nights. The single best night of sleep of my life was in a camping hammock at the rim of a canyon, being awakened slowly as the sun rose over said canyon.
5) Space Needle: visited twice
6) Hollywood Sign: seen from a reasonable distance but didn't walk to the base of the sign
7) Las Vegas Strip: yes, sadly, several times, but mostly when visiting locals who inexplicably liked to hang out there
8 ) Times Square: many times
9) Yellowstone: twice, including snowmobiling to Old Faithful from the park entrance
10) Everglades: including going swamp slogging and somehow not catching any tropical disease
11) Pikes Peak: drove to the top
12) Chicago River: kayaked the river
13) Washington Monument: I see this thing daily.
14) Mount Rushmore: twice
15) French Quarter: yes
16) Golden Gate Bridge: Walked across a few times
17) River Walk: I actually kind of like it Huh
18) Niagara Falls: yes, several times
19) Mall of America: observed from the outside only
20) Gateway Arch: My great-uncle was one of the construction workers who helped to build it, so whenever I would visit relatives in Southern Illinois during the summer, he would take us up in the Arch with great pride.
21) Empire State Building: To the top twice.
22) Road to Hana: Several times. One of my favorite beaches in the world is hidden along this path, along with the best Thai food this side of Chang Mai.
23) Fort Sumter: observed from the outside
24) The Alamo: yes
25) Wright Bros Memorial: did not know this existed until now
26) The White House: Worked here for a time.
27) Yosemite National Park: yes
28) Liberty Bell: yes
29) Central Park: yes
30) South Beach: yes
31) Arlington Cemetery: yes, but not in the 13 years I've lived in D.C.
32) Saint Augustine: yes
33) Lake Tahoe: yes
34) Alcatraz: yes

Statue of Liberty, Space Needle (I didn't go up in it, but stood at the base--that counts, right?), Times Square, Washington Monument, Mount Rushmore, Niagra Falls, Mall of America, Empire State Building, Central Park, Arlington Cemetery. Soo... 10. Most of those on my senior class (high school) trip to NYC and DC, which was in 2004 and so I didn't get to go in most of the monuments, just saw them. Without that trip, I'd be at 4.

I'm also in the Disneyland but not Disney World club.
