I'm skeptical that Polis will overperform Biden's 2020 margin in this environment, even though he has been one of the more amenable Democratic Governors to Independents/Republicans because of his more lax COVID policies.

That said, I don't see him losing.

There's a 34 point difference in their approvals and the GOP bench and primary is a complete clowncar. It's very much possible.

Safe Democratic. I guess Polis will definitely outperform Bennet and may even do somewhat better than he did in 2018.

Colorado will still be safe in 2024 regardless, Trump also had negative approvals in red states he won convincingly in the end. Furthermore, Biden has over two years left and presidents running for reelection usually improve their standing unless there's a major scandal or recession.
