McCain is agreeing with those who say that what we're doing in Iraq isn't working, but unlike the cut and run Democrats, he's putting the other option, to increase our troop strength to the level needed to do the job on the table.  Problem is, putting more troops in Iraq now is like closing the proverbial barn door.  We needed them there two to three years ago, but now, I'm not so certain how much good they will do. I don't trust the Iraqis to make the political decisions needed to avert a civil war now.
