The county I live in now voted for Biden in 2020 but my home county hasn’t voted for any democrat candidate at the presidential level since 1912.

1976 for Carter by less than three points.  Williamson County was just starting its rapid growth then and was still much more rural.  The county that voted for George Wallace by more than 20 points in 1968 (with an outright majority of the vote) was not remotely the same place as it would be by the 1980s.

I know Ritchie County WV is one. There's possibly a handful of others too but Carroll County NH didn't vote Dem between 1916-2004.

It has voted Democratic in every election since 1988, in every election since 1960 except 1980 and 1984, and has swung over 20 points to the left since 2012 and 2020.

Monroe County, IL last voted Democratic for Prez in 1992.
In the last 80 years, it has only voted Democratic in 1992 and 1964.
In terms of state legislature, Monroe County voted for Democrat Jerry Costello, II, in 2016 when he was unopposed.

In 2020, my county voted Democratic at all levels, but in 2021, Republicans managed to win the County Executive race along with several other local county-wide races. For other statewide and federal races, however, my county has a currently-active Democratic voting streak: the last time Republicans won this county at the presidential level was way back in 1988, while they last won at the senatorial level in 2000 and at the gubernatorial level in 2002.

2020. Better question to ask is when it last went Republican in this case: 1956! Yes, even McGovern and Mondale won Alameda as they only one one state and DC nationally - all the more impressive since both of their opponents, Nixon and Reagan respectively, were native Californians.

My current county (Wayne) last voted Democratic in 1964, though it did vote for Wallace in 68.
My previous county (Johnston) was likewise save for voting for Carter in 1976.
My county of birth (Susquehanna, PA) went Republican in most every election since 1856 save for 1912 and 1964.
I briefly lived in Broome County, NY, which last went Democratic in 2020
and in Chenango County, NY, which only went Democratic in 1996 and 1964 it seems.

2020. Biden won it by 17% and almost 54,000 votes, which I think might be the best ever for a Democratic presidential candidate in the county's history.

Monmouth County last voted Democrat in 2000. My town (Union Bach) last voted Democrat in 2012 and other than that, has been controlled by a Republican Party machine since the late 70s and has voted Republican in all Presidential elections since 1980 with the exception of 1992-2000 and 2012.

Also Hamilton and Hendricks Counties in Indiana along with Walworth County, Wisconsin, Pulaski and Laurel Counties in Kentucky, and Hawkins County, Tennessee. Hamilton County, Indiana I think almost flipped in 2020 and will likely flip in 2028 if I had to guess.

I thought I made another thread asking that
