Just found some new contradicting polls:

The latest Newsweek poll has Hillary Clinton leading John McCain by 50% to 43%, while the Republican leaning polling company McLaughlin & Associates has McCain leading Clinton by 51% to 35%. For Clinton vs. Giuliani the numbers in Newsweek are: 48% Clinton,  47% Giuliani and 37% for Clinton and 51% for Giuliani in the McLaughlin poll. Whats interesting is that both polls don't seem to be biased, because both have the Bush job approval in the mid-30s. So why´s this big difference ?

I'm still shocked that McCain only leads Obama by 5%-6% in these polls that keep coming out. As much as 40% of the country has still never heard of Obama and McCain's name recognition has got to be at least 90%.

How is that even possible at this point?  Bloody Hell, my father has heard of Obama at this point.

Wouldn't a six point lead win end up to a decent electoral vote win?
