I only heard about the interview after the second arrest... what exactly did he say that made the police think he was the killer?

This certainly explains why the full name and the MySpace stuff and so on were all over the news - something that they should NEVER be this early into the juridical proceedings if you ask me.

He sounded creepy and knew all of the victims. I think that's it.
That's pretty much all I heard about it here - "he gave an interview saying that he knew all the victims and had no alibi" - which probably applies to roughly a dozen lonely men with too much money to spend, or no other money-consuming hobby, living in the Ipswich area.
