Oh please. His lyrics are quaint by today's standards. I mean, there's a Doja Cat song with the lyrics "I just wanna f*** all night" that receives radio airplay.

Anyway, I find it difficult to dislike him. He's kind of just a chill, amusing personality in most ways; even apart from his music.

My point is that our standards have moved where certain lyrics aren't so shocking anymore where an explicit song can be mainstream, and Snoop Dogg falls into that category now, probably, even as he was controversial for the time.

Anyone else remember Dr. Dog?   They were the indie shiz back in the day.

probably wouldn't want to run into him 30 years ago, but since he's become a celebrity, he seems like he'd be a lot of fun to hang out with.  Perhaps it's because I'm of a certain age, but I find his version of hiphop to be more palatable than what has come since.
