Finally people are understanding that they need to stop buying things they can’t afford.

This is what happens when you have an economy built on artificially low interest rates/cheap debt. We need net positive interest rates so Americans can save money again and prices will be tied to wages and savings rather than artificially inflated borrowing power.

Target, like a lot of retailers, bought way too much inventory and hired way too many people in 2021 because they were scared that if they didn't, Amazon would and then when what people wanted was out of stock at Target, they'd just get it from Amazon and never bother coming back.
