ANDREW JACKSON MEMORIAL BANK-KILLING ACT

1. Section 85 of the National Banking Act (NBA) 12 USC §85, which permits federally charter banks to charge interest rates in States and Regions in excess of State or Regional interest rate caps, is hereby repealed. This Act shall take effect sixty (60) days after being ratified.

Senators have 96 hours to vote. Please vote Aye, Nay, or Abstain.

Technically any Senator can motion for a veto override if a redraft is not presented by the President. It so happened that Sestak was the first to make the motion last time so that works out fine in either case.

As a veto override has been requested, a vote will now be open for 96 hours. Senators, please vote Aye, Nay, or Abstain.
