Who wins a rematch between Herschel Walker and Raphael Warnock in 2028, if Walker is the incumbent Senator this time.

Unless growth in Atlanta comes to a halt or 2028 is a red wave year, Warnock would be heavily favored.

Obviously depends on what's going on at the top of the ticket.

Who won in 2022?  If Warnock is the incumbent in 2028, he's likely safe given GA trends and the usual penalty for retread candidates.

If Warnock lost and Walker is the incumbent, I do think Generic Dem would be favored against Walker, particularly in a presidential year, but Warnock would be the retread who lost in this scenario and I'm fairly sure he would underperform Generic Dem, quite possibly by enough to lose.

In reality, if GA Dems lose everything statewide in 2022 (looks like where we are heading as of today), I doubt there would be any desire on the part of Dem primary voters to nominate any of the losing candidates for anything else going forward, especially 6 years later.  McBath would be the most likely Dem senate candidate if Warnock loses.
