3 days out:

It's almost certain Kay Ivey will place first in the Republican Primary.

The biggest question: Does she get forced into a runoff? If so, who would her opponent be?

I personally think Ivey will avoid a runoff by (barely) winning a majority of the vote. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if a runoff occurs. If there is a runoff, I expect Ivey's opponent would be Lindy Blanchard.

I think Ivey narrowly misses avoiding a runoff and goes on to win the second round.

Doubtful, I'd expect Ivey to win at least around 60% of the vote.

the most recent polls have her just below 50.
