Are Republicans prepared for 2044, when whites will be a minority?

Will we see a Latino or a Black person on a GOP ticket by then?

Seeing as their nominee has almost certainly already completed the 8th grade, I guess so?

Minorities will be closer to 50/50, as Latinos become a larger bloc of that category. whites will still be a 60/65 GOP block. Lmao, why are we tripping? The GOP is fine

That's basically what Democrats were thinking of in 2009. They were going to be the only effective party at the national level because Republicans had become so unacceptable to an increasing number of people.

This is the same logic as 2006-2014 Democrats and the same logic that Karl Rove was using in 2002-2006. That is, that the entire country was about to become Wyoming because 1) minorities and immigrants were assimilating or didn't think that discrimination was a big deal, 2) more people could get mortgages, and 3) more people were becoming contractors/self-employed. Basically we lived in this "end of history" where everyone could get rich and so things like a safety net or civil rights were just seen as unnecessary privileges.
