Hello, and welcome to the office of the Secretary of Internal Affairs. This is where I will post all statements, updates, actions, and take questions pertaining to my job as Secretary of Internal Affairs. For those who are unfamiliar, this department handles all executive departments not handled by the Secretary of State or Attorney General. This includes such departments as Healthcare, Education, Transportation, etc.

Kansas Directive #1

By the authority of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), of the Subdepartment of Homeland Security,
1. The conflict in Kansas shall be declared a disaster of human origin.
2. The National Response Coordination Center shall oversee a full deployment of FEMA relief measures for the purposes of medical assistance, search and rescue of missing persons, and the provision of essential resources and service to those in need, in response to the conflict in Kansas.
3. This directive shall take effect immediately.

By the authority of the National Weather Service (NWS) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA),
1. A fire weather watch is hereby in effect for the states of Kansas and Colorado. The NWS is to closely monitor the potential for wildfires in the states at all times. Citizens are discouraged from partaking in outdoor activities with the potential to start fires, such as bonfires, lawn burning, or fireworks.
2. FEMA shall deploy firefighting task forces to eastern Colorado and western Kansas. These task forces shall be ready to assist in containing fires and evacuation if necessary.
3. This directive shall expire January 31st 2023, unless extended.

Employee Verification Directive

In compliance with the requirements laid out by SB 112-22, the Worker Wage Protection Act,
1. Within the Subdepartment of Homeland Security, the Office of Employee Verification (OEV) shall be established.
2. All companies holding contracts with the federal government shall be required to submit the identification information of all foreign national employees and foreign national applicants to the OEV. This may be done via mail, fax, or internet.
3. The OEV shall be responsible for investigating the immigration status of foreign national employees and determining whether they are legally permitted to work in Atlasia. Verification shall be completed at no expense to the contract holder. This information shall be returned to contract holders in a speedy fashion.
4. Any undocumented immigrants found to be working at a company holding a contract with the federal government must be terminated within 168 hours. No undocumented applicant may be hired.
5. Violations of provisions 2 or 4 shall result in punishment in accordance with SB 112-22.
6. Provision 1 of this directive shall take effect immediately. Provisions 2-5 of this directive shall take effect on the same date as SB 112-22.

Hold Your Horses Directive

1. All services managed by the Department of Internal Affairs shall continue operating in the South as usual.
2. All buildings and properties owned by the Department of Internal Affairs shall fly the flag of Atlasia.

Not So Fast Directive

1. The Department of Internal Affairs does not recognize the Southern region as being sovereign.
2. The Department of Internal Affairs does not recognize Southern executive orders 021 and 022 as legitimate.
3. The Department of Internal Affairs shall continue to offer services to Atlasian citizens in the Southern region.
4. The Department of Internal Affairs shall continue to provide funding to entities in the Southern region that are eligible and shall refuse any attempt to return payments.

1. The Department of Internal Affairs shall ignore all regional actions attempting to limit the jurisdiction of this department.

1. The subdepartment of Housing and Urban Development shall recommend the elimination of single family zoning.
2. The subdepartment of Housing and Urban Development shall recommend the consideration of pedestrian access in new developments.

1. The Department of Internal Affairs does not recognize the independence of the southern region.
2. All agencies under this department are order to continue operations in the south to the greatest extent possible.
3. All federally owned buildings managed by this department are ordered to provide safe refuge to any persons fearing political persecution in the south, except those with special security requirements.
4. The Federal Protective Service is ordered to guard all buildings in the south managed by this department and prevent attempts at takeover by the southern government.
5. The Subdepartment of Homeland Security is ordered to prevent the establishment of a controlled border between the south and the other regions and to ensure safe passage of important persons, military assets, and vital supplies to and from Nyman.

1. The Federal Protective Services is authorized to use deadly force in the defense of buildings managed by this department and refugees which may be held in them.
2. The secret service shall ensure the safety of Senator Louisville Thunder, Attorney General TimTurner, and citizen NC Yankee.

Persuant to Executive Order  #59-003,
1. FEMA is ordered to deploy task forces to the areas of Colorado affected by wildfires to provide humanitarian support.
2. The Forestry Service is ordered to assist in fighting the wildfires in Colorado.
3. The Forestry Service is ordered to take whatever measures which are deemed necessary and reasonable to prevent the spread of fires into federally managed forests in Colorado.
