Of course. Alas I've never managed to annihilate the Papacy in CK3 yet, is a goal of mine. Although I did manage to actually destroy the Sunni Caliphate in one game, but that was mostly by accident because of how much of an idiot the AI playing the Sunni Caliphate was.

Actually what I did is defeat all the Muslim rulers in Iberia, unify it, invade North Africa and convert some of those Muslim areas, then establish a branch of Christianity like modern day liberal Protestantism for the new empire, win a Crusade the Pope called and then invade Ireland and convert it just as I was eliminating Islam and Catholicism in Iberia and North Africa and converting all of their areas to my new branch. So establishing what's basically Protestantism a few centuries earlier (1285 is over two centuries before the Reformation) and liberal Protestantism even more centuries earlier. I'd assume you would much prefer my new Christianity branch I established with the tenants I chose.

The only CK3 game I played I converted (most of) Ireland to that weird nudity cult 'cause of course the first (and apparently only) thing I do in a game that has nudity is get to the nudity.


I'm pretty sure I did it in CK2 several times too.  I often started in Ireland because I'm bad at the game and it's just easier that way.

In CK2, I've conquered it a few times as a Viking, but my favorite was when I started as an Irish Catholic (with the Niall bloodline of course) and raided until I captured a Norse prisoner, made her my concubine, converted to Germanic paganism, and converted the whole island that way.

There were some outcrops of Islam in Pomerania and the Lowlands AFAIR. The funniest thing I had seen was a 64-year-old Turk who somehow captured the castle holding in Paris and stubbornly stayed there and established a dynasty for himself there. The Ummayads shattered into a trillion different taifas after they stupidly launched a war against West Francia while losing a separate war with Asturias and Italy. Unsurprisingly, the Reconquista was well underway and basically, all of Iberia was undergoing Christianisation with portions of Granada and Portugal holding out still. Meanwhile, I was trying to survive endless Chinese invasions playing as the Samanids.

I tried to play this game once and it was too smart for me. I couldn't figure it out. I can't play anything that was made after 2003 or so.

I have played a lot of Medieval II: Total War. I can't remember if I ever made it as far as the British Isles when playing as a Muslim or Orthodox nation, but if I did then I definitely would've converted Ireland away from Catholicism. I usually played as one of the Catholic nations, though, so usually my concern was making it as Catholic as possible because I think it starts the game out as heavily pagan.

So yeah I did it in Spain. As for Poland that's not very impressive because it's mostly Slavic pagan at the beginning anyway.
