Rounds out the S tier behind Lincoln and Washington. Cemented the United States as a democratic republic, and the Louisiana Purchase is the single most beneficial and important act by any President in our entire history with the arguable exception of the Emancipation Proclamation.

The Louisiana Purchase was good. He made some mistakes in the latter half of its presidential tenure, but he left the country in a better shape than he left it, and his contributions to this Republic as a Founding Father have helped us immensely through the centuries.
