Sanders would win if the nomination is settled before the convention, otherwise, someone not running (possibly Biden) wins at the convention as a compromise candidate after a couple of ballots, as I can't picture superdelegates backing Sanders or Bloomberg at all, and I don't think either will win a majority of pledged delegates on the first ballot at the convention.

If Bloomberg was the Stop Sanders candidate, that would indicate that the Democrat establishment was in much deeper decline than it actually is at this point. This just wouldn't happen. Failing Biden, everyone else would fall back on Buttigieg or Harris.

Bloomberg is the one candidate I see Bernie beating with ease and without a brokered convention.

Let me put it this way: Even I probably would have voted for Sanders over Bloomberg, and I said so at the time.
