As the President of the Senate is not available due to having assumed the Presidency as of yesterday, the rules state that I, as PPT shall bring nominations to the floor and open confirmation hearings.

The interesting thing would have been if Ishan voted as Mt West earlier, Transit would replace that vote and then Ishan would have had to vote again.
