Putin doesn't want to annex countries with "feminist" foreign policies, lol.

Although that would be a pretty sick ice hockey team.

Ukraine has a massive Nazi problem but the West doesn't care because they hate Russia more.

Ukraine is the least anti-Semitic country in Eastern Europe (and of course has a Jewish president whom your ilk love making thinly veiled anti-Semitic jibes at). Russia on the other hand is basically turning into a fascist state with Putin stepping up his rhetoric about “a self-purification of scum and traitors” at home, while of course carrying out a borderline-genocidal policy at times against Ukrainian civilians. You are spreading Putin’s propaganda of projection.

Yeah, I'm going to call BS on this map. Saying Ukraine is the least antisemitic country in Eastern Europe just doesn't pass the sniff test. The ADL antisemitism index shows Ukraine at 46%, while Russia is at 31% and Eastern Europe as a whole is at 34%. (lower scores are better... Sweden is at 4%)

Perhaps, by one very narrow definition of antisemitism, Ukraine does pretty well, but you can hardly make a sweeping declaration based on that.

The German Bundestag was the third parliament of a NATO member country (after Estonia and Canada) to approve Finland's and Sweden's request for NATO membership.
All Bundestag factions voted Yes on the membership application - but one. Take a guess at which party isn't fond of Finland and Sweden... Roll Eyes

Linke is the best party.

The alliance of civilized peace-loving countries against Russia can only be a positive.

My fear is what happens when another Trump, ie. Desantis, someday takes the helm of the US again.
Trump was the greatest peace-making POTUS in history.

Lmao. Is that why we finally left Afghanistan under Biden and stopped inflaming tensions around the world? Only your kind believes that lie Santander, most people can see Trump for the unstable clown he was.

The Trump administration negotiated the Afghan peace deal in the first place. Biden was the one who messed up the withdrawal. Trump also brokered the Abraham Accords and had multiple summits with North Korea. If Obama had achieved even a tenth of what Trump had done in office, they'd have given him a second Nobel Peace Prize.

When I was in Istanbul in November, there were posters of Erdogan everywhere and some young people were taking selfies beside them. It was kinda scary, you don't even get that in Russia.

It makes me sick that Erdogan is on Putin's side. And yet, if we eject Turkey from NATO, there's no reason for them not to invade Greece. What a horrible timeline.
Um, maybe the rest of NATO not wanting a hot war in a member state and the cradle of Western civilization?

I think another big issue with Turkey as an EU member is the giant border with syria and iraq: ironically if Kurdistan was independent they might have a palatable buffer.

If the the Istanbul metro area and Eastern Thrace became a "city state" it would probably be allowed to join.

That would immediately become one of the most desirable places to live in the world, but obviously it will never happen.
