So I play GeoGuessr religiously, I win over 35% of the br games I play, and I'm still blown away by what John Dule is doing here.

The first two have an approximate geoloc on their profile, narrows it down significantly, though I'm still not 100% on how he got those.

For Koopa's I looked for all Hooters locations within a couple states of Iowa, specifically those near multi-lane freeways and with a hotel within about half a mile. There were only about a dozen candidates, and from there it was decently easy to narrow them down from what the vicinity looked like.

I see a bunch of generic office and apartment buildings, but also all incoming north-bound air traffic into Reagan National.

Before Corona, at night, there were like 5-6 birds in the sky at any given moment, all lined up in perfect formation waiting to touchdown.

But during Corona = eerily, zero. 

Now = about 2.  Maybe 4.

Pretty much. I don't know exactly where 602 was, but I was on floor 6/10, and did indeed face west. I could tell it was westward because the hotel was extremely close to O'Hare International Airport, and the planes were descending as they faced westward and ascending when facing eastwards. It was also fun having to sleep over the sounds of planes flying over your head. :P

I love the large tree, which I've been able to see out my window since I was young. It looks bad on the top now because a lot of it had to be cut last year lest it interfere with the power lines, but from this view you can't tell.

There is a school crossing directly in front of the house for the elementary school one block over. Street number is 1177. Gray roof. Lots of solar panels on the neighbor's house. White car in driveway (possibly outdated). Very good location; middle school and high school also within walking distance. Cul-de-sac around the corner.

Obviously it's good that you didn't post my literal address, but it's very easy to find out where I live if you know who I am, and it's very easy to know who I am. I originally posted this with basically that disclaimer, but then I decided that I didn't want to spoil people's fun in finding out. In any case, what I posted was the view from my window so that people can see what I look at. This wasn't a challenge.

People who know me well will know that I've spent enough time finding people online to know that the notion of privacy when it comes to information like this is basically farcical. I'm not going to waste my time chasing after an ideal that doesn't exist.
