In 2016, Secretary Hillary Clinton defeated businessman Donald Trump, 334-204, to be sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. In 2019, President Clinton announced her re-election bid. Will she be re-elected to make it three consecutive terms of Democratic rule in the White House? Or will the Republicans win the White House for the first time in 16 years?

- President Clinton’s favorability among Democrats: 66% approve, 34% disapprove

Republican Candidates:
Governor Bill Weld (MA) - announced January 7, 2019

Senator Ted Cruz (TX) - announced March 8, 2019
Governor John Kasich (OH) - announced April 2, 2019

In this TL, the GOP won the House 239-196 and the GOP won the Senate 59-41 in 2018.
