Barack Obama wins Iowa, South Carolina, Alabama,  American Samoa, Colorado, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, Kansas, Nebraska, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Utah, Idaho, Hawaii, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming,

Evan Bayh wins New Hampshire, Nevada, Arkansas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Louisiana, overseas voters, Michigan, Mississippi, North Mariana, Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Arizona, New York, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Indiana, Guam, West Virginia, Kentucky, Oregon, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, California, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, the Dakotas and DC. This assumes Obama dropped out after losing California by 66-43

Obama wins the nomination. He's much more instep with the Democratic base than Bayh not to mention more charismatic, and depending on how loyal Obama is to a President Hillary Clinton, I can see her having the same talk with Bayh that Obama did with Biden in 2016 our timeline. Unlike Clinton however, Obama likely wins the general.
