FF overall.
Ultimately he helped the French national interest in his overall career, and he has a valiant record of fighting the Nazis that deserves recognition.

I've said before that he's arguably the most compelling right wing figure of the past 100 years. Which says more about how dismal the other offerings are.

He's a really impressive man who also had the most French of negative qualities: egomania and a degree of stubbornness that was painful to everyone around him. That said, those traits led him to do the right thing when everyone else in his position did the wrong thing.
