How did most Dukakis-Perot voters go in 2000 and all subsequent elections? Tbh, I think a lot of them are Obama-Trump voters.

I'd say most of them still alive voted this way:

2000: Gore
2004: Bush 43
2008: Obama
2012: Obama
2016: Trump
2020: Trump

Very unlikely to vote Dem in 2024.

What do you think?

I'd say most of them voted Democratic until 2016.

If I had to guess, Dukakis-Perot voters skew towards being blue collar and living in the Northeast and Midwest. I agree with the other posts that a lot are probable Obama-Trump voters.

I'd say most of them voted Democratic until 2016.

Agreed, I guess many are two-time Obama/Trump voters. And they're probably lost for the Democrats in the forseeable future.

I'd switch 2000 and 2004, but the rest looks accurate, if we assume they don't vote Perot again.

If they voted for Perot twice, that's different.

Agreed with the consensus, my guess is that aside from a few Greek-American identity politics voters who could have gone any way the majority were Protectionist middle American radical types.

That's how I would've voted if I was old enough. I think there are 4 paths:

Most popular:

The first path is that they'd return to the Dem party (most likely in 2000) and stay there through the Obama years but then support Trump. This seems to be the most popular scenario.

The second path is the Berniecrat types who voted for Perot because they felt Clinton wasn't left-wing enough. They'd return to the Dem party (besides Nader) and possibly voted for Stein in 2016, particularly if they didn't live in a swing state.

Least popular:

Dukakis-Perot-Nader (although some of them could've voted for Buchanan in the right circumstances)-Dem-Trump

There's also a small minority particularly in Appalachia who turned from the Dems in the late '90s/early 2000's like most Clinton supporters in that region because of environmentalism.
