This is obviously in a timeline where Hillary had been a one term President  and lost to a Republican not named Trump.  How well would he do if he is the nominee in 2024 against the Republican who won in 2020???

President Marco Rubio (R-FL) / Vice President Ron Johnson (R-WI) ✓
Fmr. Vice President Tim Kaine (D-VA) / Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA)

The economy recovers well enough from then-endemic COVID and the oil shock of the Iran and Ukraine Wars by 2024, but President Rubio is still trying to find a way out of the Middle East wars (about where Nixon was with Vietnam in 1972, Afghanistanization and Iranization and all that). The US produces and exports as much oil and natural gas as possible in what becomes a broad push for protectionism and the bifurcation of the global economy against what Rubio describes as a "Beijing-Moscow Axis". Tim Kaine is the empty suit put up to stop a Green New Deal challenger in the primaries. His neoliberal campaign is pretty easily dispatched in this new reality, losing Minnesota, New Hampshire, and ME-AL from the 2020 map.

Gotcha. Haven't been on the site in awhile, glad the EVC has been revamped.
