This is getting nowhere in any case, the President has clearly signalled his desire to veto this

Not commenting on the rest of this, but while the President does not in fact get to veto Senate resolutions, I have an amendment forthcoming that I think he'd be more amenable to.

Do I feel vaguely guilty that this is a very cosmetic amendment? Somewhat. But sauerkraut and 鹹酸菜 are both fantastic and I hope the Senate will join me in recognizing them.

the Senate of the Republic of Atlasia resolves the following:

2) The Senate of the Republic of Atlasia endorses the consumption of coleslaw, sauerkraut, suancai (酸菜), and other cabbage-based dishes by Atlasian citizens.
