2020: Clinton vs Pence vs Trump vs Gabbard

In 2020 Pence and Trump faces each other in the GOP primary with the GOP nominating Pence as a compromise after a brokered convention. Trump decides he will run as an independent candidate with Pence selecting Haley as his running mate splitting the GOP.

Clinton faces a primary challenge from Tulsi Gabbard but clinched the Dem nomination with Tulsi running for the Green Party

Gabbard doesn't take anywhere near as many votes from Clinton as Trump does from Pence, so Hillary easily wins. Hell Gabbard would basically be a non-factor, doing little better than Stein if at all. While Trump could very well split the Republican vote essentially in half, and possibly outdo Pence, especially under these circumstances when he could claim (credibly by his standards) that the nomination was "stolen" from him.
