Russia loses badly in the Russia-Ukranian War, its military depleted, and economy decimated. Ukranian and Western forces eventually retake Southern Russia, in an offensive from Eastern Ukraine to the Caspian Sea. Chechnya declares independence. Without the support of Russia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia rejoin Georgia. The remainder of the Southern Federal District and North Caucasian Federal District are a UN-administered territory that eventually becomes the Western-aligned Volgastan, with the Crimean Peninsula given back to Ukraine as part of concessions for the war. The Lukashenko government of Belarus falls after a revolution, eventually joining the West.

China helps bail out Russia after the war, in exchange for giving up the Far Eastern Federal District, to become the Chinese-dominated puppet state of Boctok.

What happens to the rest of Russia? Find your way of saying "Putin khuilo!" and help finish this alt-future.
