"Evil" is such a stupid word.
So nothing is evil in your eyes? For example, gassing people to death just because of the group they were born into isn't evil?
The people who do things like that are not motivated by "evil." They have beliefs that, from their perspective, justify that act and make it righteous. Calling people "evil" is just an intellectually lazy way to avoid trying to understand how otherwise good people can be driven by circumstance to commit unspeakably cruel actions.
Do you believe in evil at all?
Like in a supernatural sense?
Do you believe that human beings are capable of evil?
I don't have as much of a problem with applying the word "evil" to an action as I do with applying it to a person. It suggests irredeemability, and should only be used on people like Albert Fish who actually had something wrong with them.
