I won't include examples of each poster, because I'm pretty sure you're all familiar with who I'm referring to.

War =/ Genocide. As for who’s the worst, between the Jingoists and the Doomers.

As reprehensible as the Putinists are, I voted for the Doomers as they are spreading fear, panic and causing stress for no discernable benefit. At least the Putinists typically just get a response of laughter.

Also innapropriate trolling like the above post.

All of the groups mentioned are equally dubious, but the isolationists who whine about ‘NATO imperialism’ are the most irritating. Atleast the Putinists are honest about their support for a communist thug.

I’m so sorry. I should’ve made a “The Virgin Take Haver vs the Chad Normal Person With Empathy” meme instead.

Putinists are the most evil, but Isolationists and Doomers are arguably "worse" for the misinformation they spread.

The Putinists definitely have the worst opinions on the conflict.

If you multiply badness of opinions by quantity of bad opinions, the group with the most total badness of opinion is probably the jingoists simply because there are so few outright Putinists on this website.

I'm actually not sure I can think of any. compucomp is pretty obviously rooting for a boot to just start stamping on a human face forever already, but he at least tries to disguise it as neutrality.

Of this lot, #3 are certainly the worst.

However, IRL I have mostly to deal with peace-at-all-costs, we-have-to-make-concessions-to-Russia, Zelenskij-is-responsible-for-much-death-because-he-refuses-to-surrender types, so they tend to annoy me the most right now.

Yeah Russian actions don't seem to be measuring upto genocidal intent yet. Putin's claim denigrating Ukraine was more of saying that Ukranians are Russians rather than Ukranians are subhuman. On the other hand based on the holodomor careful watch should be kept on any Russian attacks on Ukraine for signs of genocide.

Exactly what I was going to say. "Both sidesing" what Russia is doing now with NATO is so disingenuous I don't think anyone sincerely believes that and they're only doing it because they really support Putin.

Not to mention that most blatant Putinists on here are trolling so the "real" Putinists are overtly taking that position.

Bigserg maybe?

Also, is there a user around here that is "neutral" but not "isolationist"? the two seem to go hand in hand

Write-in: anti-Doomers.

This mostly overlaps in general with Jingoists, but anyone who downplays, whether by ignorance or lust for war, the threat of nuclear weapons is spreading dangerous ideas. No amount of WWII analogies or J.S. Mill quotes change the fact that everything we know about war and peace fundamentally changed with the invention of nuclear weapons. You cannot view it from the same lens; this goes for the current conflict and all conflicts. If you want to return to the pre-nuclear world where you can fetishize Good Guys stopping the Bad Guys, then you have to advocate for nuclear abolition firstly; secondly, you should learn that in reality, even the few "just" wars consist of the Good Guys committing atrocities — Americans raped a lot Japanese and Russians raped a lot of Germans after WWII. War is not to be taken likely at all, even without nukes. This is the nuclear age, and it's miraculous that we're even alive right now.

If you want NATO in this conflict, then you are either ignorant or simultaneously genocidal and suicidal.

Nuclear weapons are the #1 existential threat to life on earth, tied with climate change. It was incredibly stupid of the general populace to pretend that the nuclear risk was a relic that died with the USSR. It's a mistake to only be reminded of it when a nuclear power starts invading the ally of another nuclear power. It is always an existential threat.

Biden is the Commander in Chief he is rebounding in the polls but he is importing Russian oil and still won't institute a no fly zone he isn't doing enough and if we fail in Nov part of the reason would Voting Rights and the other reason would be not doing enough,, on Russia and Ukraine again it's a long way til the Election and I don't make R nut maps like D users do, but it could happen, not necessarily will happen we lose in November, they still are selectively polling certain states , not polling PA, Wi, OH, wnd NC Sen the tipping pt races, because Biden Approvals are still low

Atleast the Putinists are honest about their support for a communist thug.

Not to be pedantic, but Putin isn't really a communist. We need to get beyond this "every evil man is a communist", thing on the right, because rather obviously falling into that thinking leaves you vulnerable in its own way. Evil manipulative, sociopaths can manifest in any political movement.

Though, I would agree there are elements of Marxist ideology that leave it predisposed to such.

Putin's ideology is power, how to get it, how to keep it. Everything else is merely instruments for the primary objective. He will laud the Soviet legacy one day and then condemn it the next for having created the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, thus having it exist to break away from the USSR, in the first place.

That we should declare War on Ukraine Pelosi wouldn't pass it and if McCarthy pass it next yr if Rs get Congress Biden would veto it, Biden left Afghanistan

Option 1 obviously

We have a volunteer army that includes Mexican Border control and helping NASA the Air Force there is plenty of things our Military does and get paid for and War with Russia is not an option for Biden

Other countries you can serve in the Guard until age 52 it's 35 here, so 40 yr olds can still serve whom are still willing to fight and during the 2000s some people didn't fight due to Afghanistan and Iraq that would fight now against Russia, Arabs are know for suicide bombings but not European Wars there are explosions but not nearly like the Arab wars

Would these same users fight the forum is loaded with users wanting Student loan discharge and Police and Military is a way to do it even after College Graduation but you have to climb a wall in boot camp which is very difficult but can be done or jog miles per day in the wilderness with a back pack on back
