I already donated for humanitarian aid. Andriy, don't hesitate for a Go Fund Me campaign for yourself and your family. We're with you all the way! I believe I speak for the entire Atlas community here.
I've also donated for humanitarian aid and went to a rally on Thursday evening. I missed out on the big rally on Sunday with 500,000 people though, due to a friends' birthday.
Also, since the weekend it kind of became part of my job description to sell arms shipments to Ukraine to the public, which is a task I find pretty annoying at times because of the peace-at-all-costs types who probably would have tried to stop Auschwitz with campaigns of civil disobedience in the mold of Martin Luther King. The ghost of Neville Chamberlain is alive and well.
Can confirm, sadly. We had a rally in solidarity with Ukraine on Saturday (500 people for a spontaneous protest) and some of those 80s boomer hippie activists were talking in a Church mass-like way how weapons should never be exported to Ukraine and how NATO was also responsible blabla. It took half of the crowd to boo them down and start singing the Ukrainian anthem to stop their nonsense and let actual Ukrainians talk.

I also had the impression in recent days that leftists of my age or younger tend to be more hawkish than older generations. I suppose that could be the result of a political socialisation that has been influenced by the teachings of someone like Joschka Fischer and the positions he held 25 years ago as well as watching too many Steven Spielbetg/Tom Hanks WWII films in our youths. :P If people of my age or younger go full pacifist or pro-Russia they often seem to be weird, esoteric part-Wagenknecht/part-AfD anti-vaxxer types.
Anti Democrat Democrat Club:
Very glad to hear you and your family are alright. Keep up the good fight.
